Curup Tenang Bedegung Waterfall - Muara Enim

Daerah Sumatera Selatan ternyata punya banyak tempat wisata yang menarik. Selain memiliki Danau Ranau di Kabupaten OKU Selatan, Goa Putri di Kabupaten OKU, terdapat pula Air Terjun Bedegung (aku mengenalnya dengan nama Curup Tenang). Selasa kemarin (16 Maret 2010), aku menyempatkan berlibur kesana bersama teman-teman dekatku, melihat keindahan air terjun tertinggi di Sumatera Selatan, dengan ketinggian 99 m. Kami menempuh perjalanan yang cukup jauh dengan menggunakan mobil. Perjalanan tersebut menghabiskan waktu sekitar 1,5 jam dari kota Baturaja (OKU). Jalannya pun cukup berliku apalagi ketika mendekati lokasi Air Terjun Tersebut. Rasa mual sempat menghampiriku, begitupun rasa ngeri. betapa tidak, kami harus melewati jalan perbukitan, disatu sisi terdapat bukit yang tinggi, disisi lain terdapat jurang yang curam. Walaupun begitu, kami masih bisa menikmati keindahan pemandangannya.

Memasuki kawasan tersebut, kami cukup membayar uang parkir, tergantung kendaraan apa yang dipakai. setelah melepas penat sejenak, kami meneruskan perjalanan dengan jalan kaki. Cukup lelah karena harus mendaki anak tangga, apalagi saat itu aku terlalu bodoh untuk menggunakan High Heels, How pity I am!!

Cukup mudah untuk mendekati lokasi tersebut, karena tersedia jalan setapak. Terdapat juga Villa, Restoran dan Penjual makanan dan minuman. Jadi jangan takut kelaparan dan kehausan ya!!

Setelah kaki menapak anak tangga terakhir, terlihatlah Air Terjun yang indah dan cukup tinggi dengan suasananya yang masih hijau. Pemandangan ini membuat kami relaks. Aku langsung berlari menuju ke tengah jembatan. Alangkah sejuknya percikan air terjun saat menyentuh wajahku. I feel so relax...

Tak lupa aku dan teman-teman mengabadikan keindahannya walau hanya dengan kamera ponsel. Air terjun ini bersumber dari mata air yang tak pernah kering di celah Bukit Barisan dan ke bawah membentuk sebuah sungai kecil yang deras dan berbatu. Karena saat ini musim hujan, arusnya cukup deras. Be careful !!

Sebenarnya dari rumah aku hanya berniat untuk melihat-lihat pemandangannya saja, namun beberapa teman mengajak untuk mandi. Mereka bilang, "Dak seru oy kalo dak mandi!!". Okelah mumpung sudah disana.

Takut juga sih saat aku lihat arus yang deras. Ketauan deh, I can't swim..hehe

Liburan yang menyenangkan. Walau cuma sebentar tapi bisa melepaskan stres gara-gara tugas kampus dan tugas kantor.

Aku harap bisa mengunjungi Air Terjun ini lagi.
